In the Joseon era, the best ingredients from all eight provinces were gathered at the palace and passed through countless hands of royal cooks before reaching the king. A royal table, or sura, was a journey of hospitality completed by the finest ingredients and the utmost care. Suragejang carries on that philosophy, reinterpreting the dignity and devotion of the royal table for today. What comes before formality is heart — a place where every guest is treated as an honored one.
Top-grade roe-filled female crab from Yeonpyeong Island on the West Sea meets a special soy sauce brewed from 26 carefully selected ingredients — 6 vegetables and 20 medicinal herbs — for a flavor that is deep yet clean. Great soy sauce starts with great ingredients: meju made from Korean soybeans, mineral-rich bamboo salt and natural spring water. Each crab is served as a full table with 9 house-made side dishes.
Branch 2 is on the 2nd floor of 8 Myeongdong 2-gil, a 10-minute walk from Branch 1. Branch 1 often has a long line, so if you would rather eat without waiting, we recommend Branch 2 — the same recipe and the same taste. Reserve via Naver or CatchTable for an even smoother visit.

Incredible traditional Korean dining experience! The Ganjang Gejang (soy marinade raw crab) was exceptionally fresh, full of rich roe, and perfectly seasoned—not overly salty. Mix some rice into the crab shell for the ultimate bite!
